aNew Bags is dedicated to promoting responsible, eco-conscious consumerism that benefits our global community. Together with a women’s cooperative in the Philippines, we work to bring useful, environmentally-friendly, and fashion-forward products to the marketplace while supporting the opportunity for self-reliance of those who work to produce these goods.

A truly innovative business model, the women of this co-op purchase thousands of used drink containers collected daily by local school children. After the containers are sanitized, they become the material used to create the colorful, stylish, and durable handbags, totes, shopping bags, and accessories sold here. All this from juice boxes that would have otherwise ended up in landfills!
